Ebor is a small country town of approximately 100 people, 45 minutes east of Armidale on the Waterfall Way and 1.5 hours west from the coast high on the New England Tablelands.
Ebor is fortunate to have the ideal climate. Warm, but not hot, summer days, the perfect temperatures in spring and autumn and a cooler winter for only a few short months. Sometimes this enables the opportunity viewing some snow fall.
Just a few minutes walk from Ebor are the Ebor Falls. The Guy Fawkes River meanders along the edge of the township of Ebor and drops over Ebor Falls, a columned basalt rock of 115 metres. At Ebor Falls there are lookout areas, picnic and barbecue facilities, fresh water and toilets. There are some glorious strolls around the falls areas and in spring you can see some of the beautiful wildflowers that grow in the area.
As you stroll or drive towards Ebor Falls you will notice the Ebor graveyard.
Ebor is renowned as a haven for bushwalking. It is a short drive from many national parks.
